Dear Parents, Assalamu Alaikum

I  would  like to welcome all of you a and to let you know that I am very happy with our student  this year.

We have finished  learning about the letters  Alif,  Ba, Ta, and Tha . We learned  through  a number of activities : songs, games,  stories  and competitions. The children truly found these activities exciting and fun.

We have started the Jolly Phonics Workbook 2!

 

 

 

 

We are focusing on the letter sounds: c, k, e, h, r, m, d.

 

I would just like to inform you that we have received about half of the workbooks and the other half is coming in late. As a class we are still working on the same worksheets.

 



Swimming!

 

Abraar School is excited to pilot a "Learn to Swim" program with the Boys and Girl's Club of Ottawa (BGCO) for the 2012-2013  school year. Students will use the BGCO's Indoor Britania Pool facility. The swimming classes will begin November 4th to March 10 biweekly for 30 minutes a session. The timing for the SK class is 2:05 p.m. on bi-weekly Fridays.
