If you have toys that are not being played with, we have a solution for you! 

Please donate your toys for the toy sale!

We are raising money for the SK graduation by selling donated toys in the Gym on Thursday, February 28, 2013.

Parents are welcome to this event as well and students are able to purchase toys as well. The price range for the toys range from 0.25 cents to $5.00.

100th Day of School

100th Day of School!

It is an exciting day for students on the 100th day of school. 

Students will count to 100 in different ways by 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's.

We will have different FUN activities that all have to do with number 100.

Mathematics- Shapes

We have finished the MEASUREMENT Unit Plan!

We are now moving on to SHAPES!

SHAPES are everywhere! Please identify shapes in the environment to your child. These may include the stop sign, the shape of a table etc.
We are focusing on 2-dimensional shapes and we will be comparing 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes.

Quran: Update from Tr. Samia

 Insha Allah I am planning to test  the students on 

surat Al.Aser on Wednesday February 13 Insha_Allah .

    . This test will be on Tajweed rules, reading rules 

and memorization of the surah , so please practice 

with your child using this website and go to Sheikh

We are reciting Surat Al.Homazah now and 

 continuing in reciting and practicing the 

previous suras in every Quran class.

Message from Tr. Nancy

Dear Parents,

Assalamu Alaikum

It was brought to my attention that the SK students were not included in the Read With Me program. I would like to apologize for that; they are included in this program.  The letter should have stated, "geared towards daycare, preschool, senior kindergarten, and grade 1 students."

Your child will be receiving their reading log on Friday, February 1, 2013.
