Quran: Update from Tr. Samia

 Insha Allah I am planning to test  the students on 

surat Al.aadiat on Wednesday May 29 Insha Allah.

    . This test will be on Tajweed rules, reading rules 

and memorization of the surah , so please practice 

with your child using this website and go to Sheikh

We are reciting Surat AlZalzalah now and 

 continuing in reciting and practicing the 

previous suras in every Quran class.

Planting

We are starting to learn about seeds and how a seed turns into a plant.
We will be looking at different types of seeds and we will talk about their differences and what they may turn out to be.

Mathematics

We are continuing to work on data management skills.
We are practicing counting by 2's, 5's and 10's.

Language

We have been working on differentiating between ch and sh sounds. 

We are also learning the sounds of th and th and how they are different in some words. 

Example: think and they

Please emphasize on these sounds when reading to your child or when they are reading to you.

Email difficulties

Assalamu alaykom dear parents,
There has been technical difficulties and I am not able to send out any emails since Wednesday. I am able to receive emails but I cannot send out any emails. As for swimming, it is still on for tomorrow as scheduled depending on who reads this blog or any of the emails that I tried to send out.
