We ended this theme with two beautiful crafts. The kids called it the Earth Man :)

We will start a new unit next week insha'Allah: The Solar System
Math:
We are learning about addition. SK1 had hands on math activities by using the counters. Each student was given one counter to practice adding numbers.
Islamic Studies:We are still learning about prayer (salah). We read two books one about Salah and the other about Wudu.
We will start learning about Ramadan insha'Allah.
Reminder: Please help your child finish their project "build a masjid". The due date is Monday, May 16.

SK1 had so much fun playing different competitive games and eating delicious snacks. The students had a wonderful time playing with their flash lights and stuffed toys!
