We wrote four sentences in
our journals on Friday.
Start with a capital letter

Leave one finger space
between each word.
End the sentence with a

Skip a line when you write
each new sentence.
Draw a picture in the space
above your writing.

beautiful booklet about the positions of prayer.
We also managed to
beautifully decorate our class door with the 99 names of Asmaa Allah Al Husna.
This was part of our 100 days of school group work activities. This craft was a
combination of language, art, Islamic studies and fun!!!

In Gym, during our 100 day of
school party, the children practiced their hockey skills. The students
have learned how to work together as a team to get the hockey ball towards the
other team’s net.
We will be learning some soccer
skills as passing the ball, kicking towards a target, and stopping the ball
with one foot.
Alhamdullelah we have been
able to successfully launch our “Literature Club”. On Friday afternoon
small groups of SK1 students step out of the classroom and joined Sr. Naaz and
Sr. Lindsay ( our Literature Club Volunteers) to the library in a huddle
reading session. The children really enjoyed these sessions, and look forward
to having them on a weekly basis inshaAllah. Thank you Sr, Naaz and Sr.
Lindsay for running our literature club!
