This week we learned the sound that the letter Ss makes. We worked together on a letter Ss hunt in a story. We worked really hard and wrote the letter Ss in our Jolly Phonics book 1. We started talking about the fall, and the changes that occur during this season. As part of our reading unit, we are reading the following song/poem:
Leaves
The leaves are falling down.
The leaves are falling down.
Red, yellow, green and brown,
the leaves are falling down.
Please help your child complete their assigned homework. I would also like to highly encourage reading books to your children on a daily basis, the more you read to them the more they will love reading, and learn to read.
